Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Chris was introduced to golf at the age of five by his father. After many years of playing in junior events, Chris decided to put his skills and passion for golf to the test and started taking lessons from the Leadbetter Golf Academy here in Orlando. It was during this time that he realized instruction was his calling.
“I have so much respect for the intricacies that make up the golf swing and when combined with the pleasure and satisfaction students experience during their lessons – I knew this is what I wanted to do!” shares Chris.
After studying marketing at Lewis University in Illinois, Chris spent the next five years training and learning from David Leadbetter and his master instructors assisting with players of all skill levels ranging from beginners to touring professionals.
Along with his knowledge of the golf swing, Chris has extensive knowledge about club fitting as a Callaway Master Fitter and golf club repair. In May of 2014, Chris accepted a position at Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Club and become a Brad Brewer Golf Academy Certified Instructor.
When he isn’t working on his golf game, Chris enjoys attending concerts and festivals with his wife, Jess, and teaching his dog who was a rescue, to fetch chip shots in the back yard. Chris and Jess will be welcoming a pink bundle of joy in May!
