"Wanda Brewer Ickes, the Client Coordinator at the Brad Brewer Golf Academy helped me with a corporate event that I planned on March 21, 2017. They created a 6-hole putt-putt challenge and a long drive challenge for our guests. Pros were there to give our guests tips. The pros, included Golf Magazine's Top 100 Teacher, Brad Brewer, who provided putting tips covering grip, posture, stroke and alignment. Our guests really enjoyed the putt-putt challenge and the weather was perfect. All of our guests participated and that was a good unusual. We had prizes, along with live music, cocktails and appetizers at the pavilion. It turned out to be a fantastic event!
"Did my first individual 3-day academy; 1-on-1 for 4 hours a day for 3 days. Had no idea what to expect and frankly wondered how I (or the instructor) would be able to focus and keep it interesting for each session. I worked with Chris Spalla and he stayed on point; kept me on point, and made it fun every minute of the 12 hours he worked with me (actually, I'm pretty sure he spent more than 12 hours with me over the 3 days). Chris helped me make several improvements and breakthroughs that I'm excited to practice to get more comfortable with. He's a true professional and BBGA is a friendly professional environment. I'm also looking forward to continuing with Chris on line and flying down to work with him again. 1st rate experience!"
"Brad worked with my 15 year old son Danny. I doubt I have enough kind words to say about brad and the academy. Danny really got so much from his experience and can't wait to come back!"
"When I started working with Brad I was a 12 handicap playing casually with friends and family at Bay Hill Club. He gave me a clear understanding of how to create a repeating shot pattern and the thought process to make it work under pressure. I went to work and really enjoyed the daily process of improving. Ten months into our relationship I'm playing competitively in local and regional events with a +3 handicap. The next year I turned professional and made my first attempt at qualifying for the PGA Tour."
"Wanda and Brad, thanks for bringing the lessons of golf to our team of IHI health care professionals. I’ll be using your name and story about the lag putt widely because it is so compelling and relevant to the work I do in physician burnout and resilience."
