Brad Brewer, President, BBGA
Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher and “Mentored by the King” author, Brad Brewer, established a place for himself in Player Development when he co-founded the Arnold Palmer Golf Academies in 1984. In 2000, Brad was involved in the startup of a golf technology company focused on distance learning through the Internet. Brad began consulting Saddlebrook Prep’s aspiring juniors from across the globe in 2002. In 2004 Brad was honored to open the doors to the Brad Brewer Golf Academy at Rosen Shingle Creek Luxury Hotel and Golf Club, Orlando. Flagler College in St. Augustine inducted him into their Sport Hall of Fame in 2010. During that same year, Brad became the Director of High Performance Instruction for Club Med Academies Golf with the first location opening in 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida with a location in Opio, France opening in 2013.

Josh Neudigate, Certified Instructor
Born in Honolulu, Josh traveled across the US and beyond making stops in Ohio, Louisiana, Japan and Colorado before settling in Orlando in 2005.
“My father is very passionate about golf and had a club in my hand as soon as I could walk. I loved it immediately! Golf has been in my life for as long as I can remember,” said Josh.
After attending Wright State University, Josh studied instruction and management at the Golf Academy of America, graduating in 2010.
Josh enjoys playing golf with his three kids and fishing. He also enjoys collecting golf equipment and reading biographies.
Erik Brua, Certified Instructor, BBGA

Growing up just west of Chicago in Glen Ellyn, Erik began playing golf while attending Marquette University in Milwaukee. During a visit home one summer, his parents introduced him to the game and he was hooked! Upon graduation, he took his passion for golf to Naples, joining the team at The Club in Pelican Bay to gain a better understanding of the golf world while his sights were set on preparing for a playing career.
Shortly thereafter, Erik turned pro and has enjoyed 14 years living his dream, as well as receiving instruction from several top instructors in golf, including Brad Brewer. “I am so fortunate to have the experiences of playing and learning this game from a different perspective—out on the course in competition. I am excited to bring this perspective to clients at the Brad Brewer Golf Academy.”
Erik calls Orlando home and will continue to compete in area events as he serves Academy students.
Elvira Barcala , Certified Instructor
Elvira Barcala is from Venezuela. She has been a professional player and a instructor since her graduation in 2002 from Golf Academy of America, in Orlando, Florida
She has been a teaching professional at Power Golf School in Marbella, Spain and also in Maracay Country Club, Venezuela, teaching juniors and adults, beginners through tournament level players.
A competitor on the PGA Venezuelan Tour, Elvira is now a member of the Duramed Futures Tour and Sun Coast Series Tour.

Dave Scott, Director of Golf, Shingle Creek Golf Club
Dave Scott brings over ten years of industry experience to Shingle Creek Golf Club, having worked at a number of Orlando’s reputable courses including Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Falcon’s Fire Golf Club, and, Metro West Golf Club.
Dave’s adoration for golf began at age 13 after watching a televised pro event while living in Chicago. His golf career includes playing for Stetson University, and, competing on the mini tour.
Dave manages both his golf operations and his game, winning the Lake Nona Pro-Member Event and earning a spot on the NFPGA Cup.
“I am extremely excited to be working for Shingle Creek Golf Club,” said Scott. “Our emphasis is on creating the highest level of quality golf experience for all our guests.”
